Eye Candy

Eye candy for the first month of 2015 is Norwegian Filip Hrivnak. I liked the ads he did for Versace. He has naturally darker hair, but, looks good as a blond. Enjoy!

Something Positive

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Today we remember and honor the legacy and dream of Martin Luther King Jr. His  "I have  dream.." speech is very popular, but the quote above is the one that resonates with me the most. 2014 ended with a lot of stress, unfulfilled dreams and some disappointments. I do not want 2015 to be more of the same, so I am going to do as this quote suggests and take a step in faith (several steps!) and follow some big dreams I have. I will no longer play small and allow circumstances to dictate my life. I am taking back control and I am going to be checking more things off my bucket list, living more fully and being my authentic self.

Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!

Farewell 2014!

There's only about two hours until midnight and the first day of 2015. I have been M.I.A. from my blog for a few months because I got knocked around by life. I encountered some situations and people who were catalysts to a lot of personal growth...to say the least! I had to put more attention than I wanted on getting all of my...challenge under control. They are still lingering, but it's now at the point where I wait for the miracles to show up. I've done all I can, now I let the Universe do it's part.

2014 wasn't a bad year, it just wasn't the greatest for me. The one bright spot was meeting my guy, "V" at the Loving Day celebration back in June. We've been having a lot of fun since then. He's out of the country to be with his family for the holidays. Can't wait 'til he comes back so we can Christen the New Year!, Hehe!

I saw this quote all over Facebook today, "Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365 day book. Write a good one!" I plan to write a better and much longer book in 2015. My experiences have given me a new perspective to do better, be better and live better. I choose to live a life of complete freedom in 2015. I look forward to starting over and recreating my life the way I really want it to be!

Veteran's Day

My dad was thirty  years in the Navy. This day is for him and all of the people who defend and protect tour country. Salute!

ComiCon

I worked two days at Comicon earlier this month at the Jacob Javits Center.. I was outside scanning people in and out. I walked around on my lunch break, but I could only see so much since I only had a half an hour break. I saw enough that I would love to attend next year. It was big and there was a lot to see, but I am not diehard enough to do more than one day. This is also where George Clooney showed up from his short honeymoon to sit on one of the panels. I didn't see anyone famous, but all the people I scanned, in costume (and most were) and not in costume, were pretty cool!
